Add a new component for controlling whether a field should be shown
or hidden. This will be used in later PRs as a control for sensitive
fields that are hidden by default.
This component should be fully accessible. Both mouse and keyboard
interactions have been tested, and `aria-label` attributes have been
added to explain the two "eye" icons that don't have any corresponding
text.
Thorough unit tests have been written, testing all props except
`className` (I don't know how to test that using Jest/`jsdom`).
Add two new FontAwesome icon components. The first is an eye, and the
second is an eye with a slash through it. These will be used in a
subsequent PR for a "Show/Hide" toggle.

The `data-test-id` prop has been added to `TextField`. This prop allows
selecting this component more easily from e2e and unit tests. This is
required for a subsequent PR that includes a text field that cannot be
selected for by placeholder or contents or label (any of which would
have been preferable).
When the gas API is down, the logic we use will no longer compute all of
the data that the gas API returns in order to reduce the burden on
Infura. Specifically, only estimated fees for different priority levels,
as well as the latest base fee, will be available; all other data
points, such as the latest and historical priority fee range and network
stability, will be missing. This commit updates the frontend logic to
account for this lack of data by merely hiding the relevant pieces of
the UI that would otherwise be shown.

serialize the SRP.

The library `@testing-library/user-event` has been updated to the
latest beta version, so that our unit tests better model real user
interactions. In particular, I found that previously the `paste` event
was missing the `clipboardData` API, so it was impossible to implement
any custom handling of paste events (which we will need in later PRs).
See the `v14.0.0-beta.1` release notes for a list of all breaking
changes [1]. The main change is that all methods now return Promises.
The `paste` method has also been dramatically simplified.
The unit tests have also been updated to reset all mocks before each
test. These tests don't have any shared mocks, but this is generally a
good practice, to ensure that tests don't develop accidental inter-
dependencies.

This is a pure refactor that extracts the SRP input from the
`CreateNewVault` component. This is intended to make future changes to
the SRP input easier, and to reduce duplication between the old and new
onboarding flows.
Extensive unit tests have been added for the new SRP input component.
A new test library was added (`@testing-library/user-event`) for
simulating user events with components rendered using the
`@testing-library` library.
A new helper method has been added (`renderWithLocalization`) for
rendering components using `@testing-library` with just our
localization contexts added as a wrapper. The localization contexts
were already added by the `renderWithProviders` helper function, but
there is no need for a Redux provider in these unit tests.

The form used for creating a vault on the "Import" page of onboarding
and on the "Restore vault" page is nearly identical, yet the
implementation is totally separate. It has now been extracted to a
separate component, consolidating the two implementations.
There is a "terms of use" checkbox on the import page that isn't on the
restore vault page, so that part has been made optional. The "submit"
button text differs between the two uses as well, so that is
customizable.
There are slight styling differences between the old and new versions
of this form. The fonts and spacing are all using our new standard
design system guidelines, and we're using our standard checkbox now as
well. The spacing and font sizes were chosen somewhat arbitrarily by me
to resemble the old styles, so please feel free to suggest changes if
you think they can be improved upon.
There are some slight copy changes to the "Restore vault" page as well;
the placeholder text and the label for the "Secret Recovery Phrase"
field now matches the "Import" page copy.

This PR ensures that the `getLastConnectedInfo` selector handles missing `eth_accounts` permission history. Historically, `eth_accounts` was the only permission in existence, and the only way that a permission subject ended up with a permission history in the first place. This will no longer the case as of #11837, and we were perhaps never right to bake in this assumption to begin with.

The first page of the Flask onboarding was causing a propType warning
to appear in the console. It was caused by the array of React Fragments
used to construct the ASCII fox; they were missing the `key` prop.
These fragments are static content, so React doesn't really need to
worry about what to do in the event they are re-ordered. The array
index has been used as the key to silence the warning.
When a lot of transactions are occurring on the network, such as during
an NFT drop, it drives gas fees up. When this happens, we want to not
only inform the user about this, but also dissuade them from using a
higher gas fee (as we have proved in testing that high gas fees can
cause bidding wars and exacerbate the situation).
The method for determining whether the network is "busy" is already
handled by GasFeeController, which exposes a `networkCongestion`
property within the gas fee estimate data. If this number exceeds 0.66 —
meaning that the current base fee is above the 66th percentile among the
base fees over the last several days — then we determine that the
network is "busy".
ESLint rules have been added to enforce our JSDoc conventions. These
rules were introduced by updating `@metamask/eslint-config` to v9.
Some of the rules have been disabled because the effort to fix all lint
errors was too high. It might be easiest to enable these rules one
directory at a time, or one rule at a time.
Most of the changes in this PR were a result of running
`yarn lint:fix`. There were a handful of manual changes that seemed
obvious and simple to make. Anything beyond that and the rule was left
disabled.
The ESLint config for the extension explicitly includes support for
Prettier. However, this is already being provided by our global ESLint
config (`@metamask/eslint-config`). Therefore there is no need to
include it here. In fact, this is causing weird issues where the `curly`
option is getting overridden somehow. After this change, these syntaxes
are invalid:

There was a propType error shown on the snap install screen about the
`name` property of `targetSubjectMetadata` being missing despite it
being marked as required. This property should not have been required,
it does not always exist.
* Prevent automatic rejection of confirmations
Confirmations are now only automatically rejected if a user explicitly
closes the notification window. If we close the window programmatically
because there are no notifications left to show, nothing gets rejected.
This partially avoids a race condition where a confirmation gets
rejected automatically without the user having seen the confirmation
first. This could happen if the confirmation was processed just as the
notification window was being closed.
It's still possible for a confirmation that the user has never seen to
get rejected as a result of the user closing the window. But at least
now it's no longer possible for a confirmation to get rejected in this
manner after the user resolves the last confirmation in the queue.
* Fix bug that prevented automatic closure detection
All windows were being detected as explicit window closures,
essentially just as they were previously, because this variable was
cleared too soon.
* Re-open popup when necessary
After the window is automatically closed, a confirmation may have been
queued up while the window was closing. If so, the popup is now re-
opened.
This error was introduced with #13100, which was merged without CI
checks because CircleCI was not running on that branch for some reason.
This error was fixed with `yarn lint:styles --fix`.
The `mounted` state was used to derive state from props before the
first render of the Home component. Instead this state is now derived
in the constructor, which is also run before the first render. This
should behave exactly the same, except now we don't need the `mounted`
state or the `deriveStateFromProps` function anymore.
The call to `closeCurrentWindow` that was made in `componentDidUpdate`
has been moved to the constructor as well. There is no need to delay
that call, and this saves us from having to compare current with
previous state in that lifecycle function.
The confirmation page template system allows templates to have alerts,
but it throws an uncaught Promise rejection if a template has no
alerts. This is the unintended side-effect of input validation.
The `getTemplateAlerts` function was updated to always return an array.
The one callsite was updated to expect an empty array if there were no
alerts to render, rather than expecting `undefined`.
This selector is a duplicate of the `getSubjectMetadata` selector,
which does the same thing except that there is no fallback for the case
where the `subjectMetadata` is falsy. This is OK because that state can
never be falsy.

The Home notification component now has a storybook file. This work was
extracted from the `snaps` branch, and was originally implemented in
PR #12860.
The storybook file was enhanced to include more stories demonstrating
each likely usage scenario.
The ESLint config has been updated to v8. The breaking changes are:
* The Prettier rule `quoteProps` has been changed from `consistent` to
`as-needed`, meaning that if one key requires quoting, only that key is
quoted rather than all keys.
* The ESLint rule `no-shadow` has been made more strict. It now
prevents globals from being shadowed as well.
Most of these changes were applied with `yarn lint:fix`. Only the
shadowing changes required manual fixing (shadowing variable names were
either replaced with destructuring or renamed).
The dependency `globalThis` was added to the list of dynamic
dependencies in the build system, where it should have been already.
This was causing `depcheck` to fail because the new lint rules required
removing the one place where `globalThis` had been erroneously imported
previously.
A rule requiring a newline between multiline blocks and expressions has
been disabled temporarily to make this PR smaller and to avoid
introducing conflicts with other PRs.
The `nodeify` utility is no longer needed for the background API.
Instead each method is assumed to be either synchronous or Promise-
returning.
The error handling was updated to at least log the error in the case
where a method fall fails after the connection is broken.

# Permission System 2.0
## Background
This PR migrates the extension permission system to [the new `PermissionController`](https://github.com/MetaMask/snaps-skunkworks/tree/main/packages/controllers/src/permissions).
The original permission system, based on [`rpc-cap`](https://github.com/MetaMask/rpc-cap), introduced [`ZCAP-LD`](https://w3c-ccg.github.io/zcap-ld/)-like permissions to our JSON-RPC stack.
We used it to [implement](https://github.com/MetaMask/metamask-extension/pull/7004) what we called "LoginPerSite" in [version 7.7.0](https://github.com/MetaMask/metamask-extension/releases/tag/v7.7.0) of the extension, which enabled the user to choose which accounts, if any, should be exposed to each dapp.
While that was a worthwhile feature in and of itself, we wanted a permission _system_ in order to enable everything we are going to with Snaps.
Unfortunately, the original permission system was difficult to use, and necessitated the creation of the original `PermissionsController` (note the "s"), which was more or less a wrapper for `rpc-cap`.
With this PR, we shake off the yoke of the original permission system, in favor of the modular, self-contained, ergonomic, and more mature permission system 2.0.
Note that [the `PermissionController` readme](https://github.com/MetaMask/snaps-skunkworks/tree/main/packages/controllers/src/permissions/README.md) explains how the new permission system works.
The `PermissionController` and `SubjectMetadataController` are currently shipped via `@metamask/snap-controllers`. This is a temporary state of affairs, and we'll move them to `@metamask/controllers` once they've landed in prod.
## Changes in Detail
First, the changes in this PR are not as big as they seem. Roughly half of the additions in this PR are fixtures in the test for the new migration (number 68), and a significant portion of the remaining ~2500 lines are due to find-and-replace changes in other test fixtures and UI files.
- The extension `PermissionsController` has been deleted, and completely replaced with the new `PermissionController` from [`@metamask/snap-controllers`](https://www.npmjs.com/package/@metamask/snap-controllers).
- The original `PermissionsController` "domain metadata" functionality is now managed by the new `SubjectMetadataController`, also from [`@metamask/snap-controllers`](https://www.npmjs.com/package/@metamask/snap-controllers).
- The permission activity and history log controller has been renamed `PermissionLogController` and has its own top-level state key, but is otherwise functionally equivalent to the existing implementation.
- Migration number 68 has been added to account for the new state changes.
- The tests in `app/scripts/controllers/permissions` have been migrated from `mocha` to `jest`.
Reviewers should focus their attention on the following files:
- `app/scripts/`
- `metamask-controller.js`
- This is where most of the integration work for the new `PermissionController` occurs.
Some functions that were internal to the original controller were moved here.
- `controllers/permissions/`
- `selectors.js`
- These selectors are for `ControllerMessenger` selector subscriptions. The actual subscriptions occur in `metamask-controller.js`. See the `ControllerMessenger` implementation for details.
- `specifications.js`
- The caveat and permission specifications are required by the new `PermissionController`, and are used to specify the `eth_accounts` permission and its JSON-RPC method implementation.

- `migrations/068.js`
- The new state should be cross-referenced with the controllers that manage it.
The accompanying tests should also be thoroughly reviewed.
Some files may appear new but have just moved and/or been renamed:
- `app/scripts/lib/rpc-method-middleware/handlers/request-accounts.js`
- This was previously implemented in `controllers/permissions/permissionsMethodMiddleware.js`.
- `test/mocks/permissions.js`
- A truncated version of `test/mocks/permission-controller.js`.

`remote-redux-devtools` is now explicitly excluded and disabled in non-
dev builds, and in the `testDev` build. This was causing console errors
in the `testDev` build during e2e tests, which would cause certain
tests to fail.
This was already only supposed to be enabled for development builds,
but this library used the `NODE_ENV` environment variable to make that
determination. This gives us more control over when it's disabled.
A redundant comparison for the `EIP_1559_V2_ENABLED` variable has been
removed. This variable is a boolean, so it can be treated as a boolean
directly in most cases.
One such comparison has been preserved for the purpose of allowing unit
testing, because `process.env` entries are always strings in Node.js. A
comment was added to explain this.
The `disableRipple` prop was resulting in a React error in development
builds because it was unrecognized by React. This prop dates back to
when we were using the `@material-ui` Button class. It no longer serves
any purpose, so it has been removed.
A propType error was showing up during e2e tests with a `testDev`
build. It was caused by `process.env.IN_TEST` being treated as a
boolean, when in fact it is either the string `'true'` or a boolean.
`IN_TEST` has been updated to always be a boolean. `loose-envify` has
no trouble injecting boolean values, so there's no reason to treat this
as a string.
There were two propType errors in the signature request and signature
request footer components. A boolean was wrongly declared as a
function, and that same boolean was later declared with an invalid
propType (`PropTypes.boolean` rather than `PropTypes.bool`). Both
errors have been fixed.

The calls to the background in `actions.js` that relate to the custom
nonce feature now use `async/await` and `promisifiedBackground`.

field, the warning is shown in case of error before the loading

it has any user-facing impact at all).

These background API methods were not used anywhere in the UI. One of
them was called in `actions.js` by a function that itself was never
called, so it have been removed. Additionally, one unused `actions.js`
function was found and removed as well.
`setAdvancedGasFee` is the only unused background method that remains.
It was recently added and will be used in the near future.

The build system now supports platform-specific modifications to the
manifest for each build type. The need to customize the `id` on Firefox
motivated this change.
To support this, a new directory was made in each build type directory
for manifest changes. The images currently in this directory were moved
into an `images` subdirectory.
This new `manifest` directory can include each manifest file currently
in `app/manifest`. The `_base.json` file is assumed to exist, but the
platform manifest modifications are optional.

The main `Select HD Path` piece of the account selection component was not
properly hooked up to the state manager (`onPathChange`) and the extra
`Popover` component was being used instead.
I'm not sure what the origin of this is, but I don't see why the Popover
is needed at all. I have remove it and hooked `onPathChange` directly into
the HD path selector dropdown.
This was an issue that nearly every Lattice user who had come from Ledger
has contacted us about.

This PR enables the exclusion of JavaScript and JSON source by `buildType`, and enables the running of `eslint` under LavaMoat. 80-90% of the changes in this PR are `.patch` files and LavaMoat policy additions.
The file exclusion is designed to work in conjunction with our code fencing. If you forget to fence an import statement of an excluded file, the application will now error on boot. **This PR commits us to a particular naming convention for files intended only for certain builds.** Continue reading for details.
### Code Fencing and ESLint
When a file is modified by the code fencing transform, we run ESLint on it to ensure that we fail early for syntax-related issues. This PR adds the first code fences that will be actually be removed in production builds. As a consequence, this was also the first time we attempted to run ESLint under LavaMoat. Making that work required a lot of manual labor because of ESLint's use of dynamic imports, but the manual changes necessary were ultimately quite minor.
### File Exclusion
For all builds, any file in `app/`, `shared/` or `ui/` in a sub-directory matching `**/${otherBuildType}/**` (where `otherBuildType` is any build type except `main`) will be added to the list of excluded files, regardless of its file extension. For example, if we want to add one or more pages to the UI settings in Flask, we'd create the folder `ui/pages/settings/flask`, add any necessary files or sub-folders there, and fence the import statements for anything in that folder. If we wanted the same thing for Beta, we would name the directory `ui/pages/settings/beta`.
As it happens, we already organize some of our source files in this way, namely the logo JSON for Beta and Flask builds. See `ui/helpers/utils/build-types.js` to see how this works in practice.
Because the list of ignored filed is only passed to `browserify.exclude()`, any files not bundled by `browserify` will be ignored. For our purposes, this is mostly relevant for `.scss`. Since we don't have anything like code fencing for SCSS, we'll have to consider how to handle our styles separately.

of each size and variety that we use, and it includes the 3D model JSON

The beta build currently has a couple of UI elements (the horizontal
logo and the app header) set to "dark mode", even though nothing else
in our UI supports dark mode yet. These styles have been removed. We
should make the entire UI support dark mode all at once at a later
date.
Also the horizontal logo used for beta was named incorrectly; the dark
and non-dark logos were swapped. They have been switched back so that
the logo that ends with `-dark` is for dark mode.

In some languages, network names are longer than the visible width of
the network dropdown. In these cases, the currently selected network will
overflow the bounds of the network dropdown container.
This commit addresses this issue so that the dropdown container will
grow and shrink appropriately, truncating the currently selected network
if needed.

`switch-ethereum-chain` did not work correctly with built-in networks.
It was treating them as custom networks, rather than as built-in
networks. This affected how they were displayed in the network
dropdown, and resulted in slight differences to the network stack used
as well.
The problem was that `updateRpcTarget` was used, which was meant for
custom networks only. Now that `setProviderType` is used in the case of
a built-in network, the behaviour should match the network switcher
exactly.

The CurrencyRateController has been migrated to the BaseControllerV2
API, which includes various API changes. These changes include:
* The constructor now expects to be passed a
`RestrictedControllerMessenger`.
* State changes are subscribed to via the `ControllerMessenger` now,
rather than via a `subscribe` function.
* The state and configration are passed in as one "options" object,
rather than as two separate parameters
* The polling needs to be started explicitly by calling `start`. It
can be stopped and started on-demand now as well.

The `SET_CURRENT_FIAT` action has been removed. It has been replaced
by a call to `forceUpdateMetamaskState`. The only purpose of this
action was to eagerly update the current fiat currency settings before
the next state update. Forcing a state update instead is simpler and
safer.
The `setCurrentCurrency` function in the background has been updated to
no longer return the state, now that it's no longer needed.

The "BIP44 Standard" HD path option in the Ledger connect flow listed
only Trezor as an example. It seemed appropriate to include MetaMask as
well, since we use the same path. This helps users who have imported
their MetaMask seed phrase onto a Ledger device to discover this

Warnings were not shown on the Add Recipient page of the send flow. Now
any send warnings will be shown. This can be tested using an ENS name
with a confusable character in it (the confusable character warning
will be shown).
A condition was also removed that prevented any warnings or errors from
rendering when the user had non-zero contacts or recent addresses. I
have no idea why you'd want to hide warnings or errors if the user had
no contacts or recent addresses. None of these errors even pertain to
contacts or recent addresses.

The `@include Paragraph` was added in one of the typography PRs but I believe it was intended for the token options text, not the icon. I believe the Paragraph only applies to text like everywhere else in the UI and this should be safe to remove from the icon to display the font-family from Font Awesome.
The `transferFrom` localized message has been unused at least since the
transaction list redesign was implemented. The `transactionCategory`
has been used directly as the localized message key since then. For
most of the other categories this was fine, but for `transferFrom` the
message differs slightly from the category (the category is
`transferfrom`, with a lower-cased 'f').
We now use string literals for all transaction category localized
messages. This makes it easier to verify that we have translations for
each of them, and that we aren't leaving any unused translations around.

* Use nock in to intercept gas call for gas-duck test
Use nock instead of stubbing out the window fetch. My suspicion is that when the test runs the window sometimes wouldn't be intialized/referenced, which could explain the intermittent test failures in those particular tests that call window.fetch.
Using nock allows the call to be intercepted more reliably.
Upon the first render, the "original" signature request confirmation
page would trigger a PropType error. This was caused by unexpected
mutation of the state props. The container has been updated to avoid
mutating the props, and now the PropType warning is no longer present.
This fixes a bug where the network menu would remain present after a
second click on the network menu button. The bug was caused by the
click being handled _twice_, by two separate handlers. First it was
caught by the external click handler of the dropdown menu, which closed
the menu. Second, it was caught by the network button itself, which re-
opened the menu. This all happens quickly enough that to the user it
appears to stay open.
The external click handler of the menu now only fires if the menu is
open. Additionally, any click that is caught by the network menu is
stopped from propagating further, so that it can't trigger additional
click handlers.
The `menu-droppo` external click handler would fail to update when the
prop changed while the menu wasn't shown. This bug isn't exposed
anywhere yet as far as I know, but I ran into it when working on a
different bug fix.
The Chip component was emitting a PropType error because it was missing
the `labelProps.children` prop. It was never supposed to be given that
prop - it was a mistake in the PropType declaration. The PropTypes have
been fixed to prevent this warning.

The origin that suggests a transaction is now shown on the transaction
confirmation page. If the transaction was initiated from within
MetaMask (e.g. via the 'Send' flow or swaps), no origin is shown.
This was based upon designs that were linked in the PR #9377. This is a
temporary measure until our newer transaction confirmation designs can
be implemented.

The origin of the dapp that suggested signing has been added to the
signature request confirmation page. This only applies to `eth_sign`,
`personal_sign`, `eth_signTypedData`, and `eth_signTypedData_v1`. The
confirmation page for `eth_signTypedData_v3` and `eth_signTypedData_v4`
already featured the origin.
The decrupt message confirmation UI will crash if the origin metadata
is not present. This PR makes the UI tolerant of that metadata being
missing. It was always intended to be optional anyway.

When trying to connect a Trezor account on a fresh install of MetaMask,
the radio buttons on the account selection page would not respond to
being clicked.
When debugging this, it looks like the `onChange` event was never
triggered. A radio `<input>` element should trigger `onChange` whenever
the selection state change, but seemingly this wouldn't happen if the
change in selection state was undone during the same render cycle. If
I paused at a breakpoint during the render, I could see the checkbox
get selected then unselected again without triggering `onChange`.
The simplest fix was to use `onClick` instead of `onChange`. This seems
more appropriate anyway because we're treating the radio button as a
controlled component here, so the state of the underlying element isn't
really of any concern.
The "Next nonce" warning warns users when the custom nonce they set is
higher than our suggested nonce. This warning was mistakenly being
shown even when we didn't have a suggested nonce yet.

New year, new problems.
It's working as expected, but we had hard-coded some 2020 date values, and `formatDateWithYearContext` adds the year to its output formatted date if the date is not from the current year.
Ensures that `hideLoadingIndication` is always called in all actions that call `showLoadingIndication`. It's unclear how many of these actions were failing to hide the loading indication, because other actions superset `hideLoadingIndication`.
At the very least, `updateTransaction` was probably failing to hide the loading indication in the error case.
This PR also refactors a lot of actions to call `hideLoadingIndication` once in `finally` blocks as opposed to multiple times across `try` and `catch` blocks. We avoided making changes to functions using `Promise` methods, because `Promise.finally` is not supported by Waterfox, and it's not properly transpiled by Babel.
A data race was introduced in #9919 when the old synchronous storage
API was replaced with an async storage API. The problem arises when
`fetchWithCache` is called a second time while it's still processing
another call. In this case, the `cachedFetch` object can become
stale while blocked waiting for a fetch response, and result in a cache
being overwritten unintentionally.
See this example (options omitted for simplicity, and assuming an empty
initial cache):

The order of events could be as follows:
1. Empty cache retrieved for `/foo` route
2. Empty cache retrieved for `/bar` route
3. Call made to `/foo` route
4. Call made to `/bar` route
5. `/foo` response is added to the empty cache object retrieved in
step 1, then is saved in the cache.
6. `/bar` response is added to the empty cache object retrieved in
step 2, then is saved in the cache.
In step 6, the cache object saved would not contain the `/foo`
response set in step 5. As a result, `/foo` would never be cached.
This problem was resolved by embedding the URL being cached directly in
the cache key. This prevents simultaneous responses from overwriting
each others caches.
Technically a data race still exists when handing simultaneous
responses to the same route, but the result would be that the last call
to finish would overwrite the previous. This seems acceptable.
Additional validation was added in #9907 to ensure that the "Known
contract address" warning was shown when sending tokens to another
token address after switching assets on the Send screen. Unfortunately
this change had the unintended side-effect of preventing _all_ token
sends after switching assets, so long as the recipient was not an
internal address.
The problem is that the `validate` function expects to be passed the
address of the token send recipient in the case where a token is
selected. Instead the token address was being passed to the validate
function.
The `query` state is now used, which should always contain the
recipient address. This is the same state used in the only other place
the `validate` function is called.
The TokenList component on the `add-token` page had the name `InfoBox`,
which doesn't seem applicable. It has been renamed to `TokenList`, to
match the module filename and the component name we use elsewhere.
The `errors` and `total` state has been removed from the `gas` slice,
along with related functions. It appears to have been unused for a long
time, though I'm not exactly sure as of when.

Our Storybook dependencies have been updated to v6.1.9, from v5. This
was done to address a security vulnerability in a transitive dependency
of these packages (`highlight.js`).
The primary changes required by this Storybook update were the change
in import path for the `withKnobs` hook, the change in background
config format, and the webpack configuration. Storybook seems to work
correctly.
The migration was guided by the Storybook changelog[1] and the
Storybook v6 migration guide[2].
There is one Storybook error remaining; it fails to load the Euclid
font. This is a pre-existing error though, so we can fix it in a later
PR.
The `yarn.lock` file was deduplicated in this PR as well, as it was
required to fix various install warnings that were introduced with this
update.

On a reproduction of trying to get the error message it seems that if an token address is provided in the address form with ETH selected then changing to a token address, the error message won't show.
This will validate the sendtoken address on prop change to properly update the warning message.

This fixes a PropType error when using non-custom slippage, and it
fixes a type inconsistency when custom slippage is used.
Previously, `slippage` was being converted explicitly to a `Number` as
it was passed into `BuildQuote`, but not as it was passed into
`AwaitingSwap`. Also the PropType was set as `string`, despite the fact
that it's a number in most cases, and is used for math.
The PropType has been changed to `number`, and the selective casting to
`Number` has been removed. Instead, the `maxSlippage` value is cast to
a `Number` as it's being selected, so that the type is always
consistent.

The custom HD path option was found to be unsafe to use, because the
displayed list of accounts would differ depending on which application
was open on the Ledger device. Essentially Ledger was accepting invalid
inputs, and returning junk responses.
This was too dangerous to ship, as it could leave users with an account
that they can't reliably recover. If we don't know how the derivation
is happening, then allowing this import puts our users at risk of
losing funds.
We can re-introduce this functionality after adding validation to
ensure that we only allow inputs that are handled correctly by Ledger.
